As we gather as a Catholic parish here in Lincoln California to celebrate 100 years of faith, community, and service, we are filled with gratitude for the countless blessings that have been bestowed upon us. Over the past century, this parish has been a beacon of light and hope, a place of worship and fellowship, and a home for all who seek God's loving presence.
In reflecting on our rich history, we are reminded of the dedication and sacrifices of those who came before us, whose faith and vision laid the foundation for the vibrant community we are today. Their legacy of love, service, and devotion continues to inspire us to carry on the mission of spreading the Gospel and building God's kingdom here on earth.
Through times of joy and sorrow, growth and challenges, this parish has remained a place of solace and support for all who seek shelter in its embrace. It has been a sanctuary for the broken, a school for the uninformed, and a family for the lonely. In our shared journey of faith, we have found strength in unity, comfort in prayer, and joy in fellowship.
As we mark this milestone of 100 years, let us give thanks for the faith that has sustained us, the community that has nurtured us, and the grace that has guided us. Let us recommit ourselves to being a beacon of Christ's light in our community, serving others with compassion, reaching out to the marginalized, and spreading God's love to all who are in need.
May the next century of our parish be marked by even greater faith, deeper unity, and more abundant blessings. Let us look to the future with hope and enthusiasm, confident that God's grace will continue to guide us and that His love will sustain us in all our endeavors.
As we celebrate our past, let us also embrace the present and look forward to the future with hearts full of faith and hands ready to serve. Together, as one parish family, may we continue to shine God's light in the world and be a source of love and hope for generations to come.
“Rooted in Faith, Growing in Love, Embracing the Future.”
Blessings to all as we celebrate 100 years of faith, community, and service.
